Shashwat Jaiswal

I am a CS PhD student at University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I am working with Prof Indranil Gupta and Prof Josep Torrellas. I am working on multiple Systems and Networking topics including but not limited to Disaggregated Memory, LEO Satellites, ML Compilers and Edge Systems.

Prior to UIUC, I completed my undergraduate progam at IIT Bhilai where I worked with Dr Yogesh Simmhan (IISc), Dr Subhajit Sidhanta and Dr Dhiman Saha. My thesis enatiled building a lightweight distributed storage engine for drone fleets.

During my time at The University of British Columbia, I worked with Prof Matei Ripeanu and Prof Karthik Pattabiraman. At UBC, my research dealt with variability and ML on the edge.
